Years ago - I was introduced to the Koi Club's by Roy Hicks after a chance meeting at Clearwater Koi
My own pond is version **** - I've built so many over the 40 years or so I've kept fish. A serious Koi keeper since 1999.
My latest pond, 2007, has been downscaled to only 1250gals but running with the latest technology the Koi world has to offer, complete with 8 size 5/6 koi and a couple of babies 8/10 inch.
I know the above is contrary to Koi guidelines, but experience & knowledge are massive tools to prove theories incorrect. Many have visited my system & left wondering "How on Earth", as the Koi are clearly stress free and still growing !
One piece of advice – give your Koi stability - & manage your water - the Koi will always tell you when something is wrong.
