How do people deal with dew point condensation?

50 years ago my late father used to heavily insulate his fish house, then heat the whole building. I don't ever remember him having condensation problems.

Is that the only way to go?

got huge problems with dew pond is at 14d eating area is at 18d 25mm polycarb sceeens between pond and seating area but seating area is still dripping ????thinking of putting what anthonys da stephen called a "warm roof" on which is solid roof breathable membrane and insulation he said that cured his dew issue.
