How long before the lights go out? Another power station to close.

Remember an old member telling us how precarious the supply situation was.

I guess you mean Eggborough?

Yes, a sad day for coal fired power stations, but as the government has decided on clean power technology, we are moving into renewables and clean gas. I think it's the big hope for shale gas?

Unfortunately our youngest coaler is 50 years + of age and that is Ratcliffe at Nottingham.

ps, Drax will continue to burn and turn as it is converting to Biomass fuel on all units.
